A Day With Purpose
Your dog is collected from home by one of our trainers, transported to our private training facility near Windsor, and returned home in the afternoon — a convenient, stress-free option for busy owners.
This is not a traditional dog daycare. Every part of your dog’s day is structured with purpose, combining small-group socialisation, obedience training, enrichment, and scheduled rest to build better manners and reliable everyday behaviours at Dogs At Work.

Dogs are carefully managed in small groups to encourage appropriate social interactions, build confidence, and reinforce good behaviour — practising real-world skills while learning to stay calm and responsive around other dogs.
Alongside structured training, your dog receives exercise, enrichment activities, individual training, and scheduled rest periods throughout the day — physically and mentally fulfilled, without becoming overstimulated.

Eligibility & Assessment
To keep Day School safe, structured, and enjoyable for every dog, all dogs must be assessed and approved before joining. This lets our trainers evaluate your dog’s temperament, training level, and suitability for a group environment.
This program is designed for dogs that can safely participate in a group setting. Dogs displaying severe aggression or behaviours that compromise the safety of other dogs or staff may not be suitable. Suitable for dogs aged 6 months and older.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off is available for clients within Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Outside the service area? You’re welcome to drop your dog directly to our facility near Windsor anytime after 10:00am and collect them anytime before 2:00pm.

FAQs
Does my dog need to be assessed first?
Yes — every dog is assessed and approved before joining, through a 1-on-1 Training Session, Private Puppy Program, or our 6-Week Dog Training Program. This lets us evaluate your dog’s temperament and training level so the group stays safe and productive for everyone.
How is this different from dog daycare?
Traditional daycare is largely unstructured free play. At Day School, every part of the day is planned and supervised by professional trainers — structured socialisation in small groups, obedience training, enrichment, and scheduled rest — so your dog comes home better behaved, not just tired.
How many dogs attend each day?
A maximum of 5 dogs per day, so every dog receives individual attention and a high-quality training experience.
What happens in bad weather?
We run rain, hail or shine. Training plans are adapted to the conditions while keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and learning.
I'm outside the Northern Beaches — can I still join?
Absolutely. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off covers Sydney’s Northern Beaches, but you’re welcome to drop your dog directly to our facility near Windsor after 10:00am and collect before 2:00pm.
